One Dead, One Critical in Wrong Way Crash

One person died and another suffered life-threatening injuries after a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Interstate Highway 280 crashed into another vehicle, according to the CHP. Emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate Highway 280 at Page Mill Road in Los Altos Hills just before 1 a.m. and located the two occupants trapped in their respective vehicles, according to the Palo Alto Fire Department.

Mountain Lion and Her Cubs Spotted in Woodside

A mountain lion and three cubs were reportedly spotted near Woodside Tuesday morning, according to the San Mateo County Office of Emergency Services. The animals were spotted at about 7:50 a.m. in Wunderlich County Park and county sheriff's deputies and park rangers are at the scene to investigate, county officials said.
