Woodridge Rotary Club Announces Charitable Giving by Mini Triathlon

For the second year, participants at the August 17th Woodridge Rotary Mini Triathlon selected one of six organizations for charitable giving as they registered. Five dollars is given by the Rotary Club for each selection by a person registering for the event.

6 cars, house damaged; teen charged with DUI

A Woodridge teen who lost control of her red Ford Mustang Sunday night and damaged a total of six cars and a house has been charged with DUI, police said. Hope Brown, 18, was driving south on Westview Lane approaching the intersection at Everglade Avenue at about 10:20 p.m. when she lost control and hit several cars parked along the road, said Traci Steger, Woodridge Police Department's public information officer.
