Bail set at $1 million in northern Minnesota murder case
Bail was set at $1 million with conditions, or $2 million without conditions, for a Ponsford man accused of setting a house fire that killed his girlfriend.

Lightning was the culprit in starting a house fire seven miles west of Wolf Lake on Tuesday, August 2. Wolf Lake Fire Chief Dale Hillukka said it appears the house was hit by lightning around midnight.A The fire smoldered in the attic until about 5 a.m., when it burst into flames.
