BTW the guy who defeated Curran was just defeated for re-election.
The other two guys, one cost his town millions for not being in control of himself, and the other was Asst. Manager of a town half Billericas size.
This was a no-brainer except for a few connected people.
Another BTW, how did the town make out last time when Correnti and Accomando didn't go along with the number one choice of the Screening Committee, Williams lasted what eight months and we had to start the whole process over again.
The BOS, at least least the new majority got it right.

While you are there, go to the responsibilities of the Mayor. The Mayor of Woburn, is not like the Mayor of Lowell, who is a fiquer head. The Mayor of Woburn has more responsiblities than any Town Manager in the State, and surely more than the TM of Billerica.
Considering Curran was a Maynard Town Administrator and 4 years from a strong Mayor city, he has more than enough experience than most town Managers and didn't have the baggage of the second choice that cost his town millions in law suits, or complete lack of management experience the third candidate had.(BTW any other title)
It is a sad thing, when there are some out there throwing bombs, before the guy even gets hired. Give him a couple of years if he doesn't work out NEXT.
