Two Injured in Buchanan County Crash
Two people were injured in a Monday afternoon crash in Buchanan County. It happened at the intersection of C-57 and Mason Ave, near Hazelton, around 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Karen Kay Haars, 68, of Guttenberg, formerly of Winthrop, died Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital, after a long illness.
RAMBLIN': Coggon barber, 98, shuns easy chair for barber chair
Tom Waters, 98, is reflected in a multi-panel mirror at one end of the barbershop in Coggon where he's been cutting hair for 63 years.
William "Bill" Blount, 90, of Independence, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at his home after a lengthy illness.
