Truck Fire Causes Delays on I-40

Photo by Jack Vicars A commercial truck fire caused eastbound Interstate 40 near Winslow to be shut down for a short time Tuesday afternoon at around 12:10 p.m. The fire, which fully engulfed the truck, is believed to have been caused by mechanical problems.

Longtime Holbrook resident Lane Roundy, 46, died from injuries he sustained in an accident that occurred at approximately 12:47 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, on Interstate 40 near the Leupp exit.
