By ADAM RUSSELL Staff Writer In a historical vote Tuesday, the city of Winona became the first "wet" jurisdiction within Smith County since 1939.

Smith County: Tyler Council Member, District 5 - Early voting results show 146 for Mark Whatley, 81 for Ron Shaffer, 18 for Michael Eugene Tolbert and 10 for Keith A. Pyron.
Winona residents will head to the polls again on Tuesday to vote on a proposition that would allow the sale of alcohol within the city limits.
