Franklin, Madison under thunderstorm warning

The National Weather Service in Jackson, Miss., has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Franklin, southwestern Madison Parish and north central Tensas Parish until 5:45 p.m. At 4:47 p.m., meteorologists detected a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph near Winnsboro moving notheast at 30 mph.
