UPDATED AT 3:55 p.m.: A brush fire that broke out Tuesday afternoon in Winchester damaged several outbuildings and sent smoke across the east-lying areas of Southwest Riverside County.

A five-acre brush fire burned five outbuildings in Winchester today, but there were no reports of any injuries.
