Well...i hope the authorities are doing something about the poor children that have these nutcases as parents! Patrick Rd. is right near a school...so there are kids walking around and these people are popping pills and driving around town! Losers!

Freakin dirtbags...committing a felony with their kids in the car. The saddest part about this story is the unwritten ending: DSS does nothing to protect the kids and they end up in 'the system" their entire lives. Take the kids away...give them a fightin chance at life!

Painkiller addiction is no different than being addicted to heroin. They need help (or jail) because they won't stop on their own. I also feel bad for the kids, with two parents that are addicts I'm sure they are being neglected.

WRONG, There is a HUGE difference IMO! Between pills and heroin, The High, the Withdrawls, the Relapse rate etc. Being addicted to Fentanyl or basically any high end Pain meds ARE rough BUT WAY different than a regular heroin user. And to TOP that Methadone addiction and withdrawl IS the absolute WORST!

P.S. WHY does everyone think that jail or prison will help them, in ANY way, yeah you'll be clean for that period but when you also have like a 2 to 10 success rate at a rehab....It depends on that specific person.

You're prob. right on the physical withdrawals and cravings being slightly different...especially since every bag of heroin can be different in some way and the strength varies, BUT I was speaking about the effects on the brain. Whether the drug of choice is heroin or pain pills, these drugs have the same exact effect on the brain and the addiction starts there.

I think they both get what they deserve. I would hate to see what those kids go through with both parents stealing pain killers.

thats why we have Doctors, gee I have back pain too, so does that give me the right to STEAL a pad and write my own. Gosh those poor kids, something is wrong with a mother who is after pain killers. AND the guy . . . .nice, he is a truck driver who drives the family around, they should be caught and in jail, either that or let them go and one day find the whole family wrapped around a tree instead of being at Walgreens.

i agree with you ...and who cares what the drug is, 4 beers. We have laws for reasons ...do they were arreseted or not, you mean they let them go with the KIDS in the car.

I know these people. They are complete dirt bags. They don't pay any attention to their kids and they deserve so much better. I hope they rot in jail for what they have done. They deserve the worst punishment possible. To do these things with their two little girls in the vehicle??? Who does that!! LOSERS!!! Michelle grew up in Campton NH and went to PRHS. Her whole family is twisted!! The best place for the kids is anywhere but with her family!!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Scorpio

Something that you've always taken for granted or believed implicitly could have a big question mark hanging over it during the next few weeks. The more entrenched your views are about this, the more difficult it will be to accept that perhaps it's time for a change of opinion or, at the very least, a revaluation of what you think. Mercury turns retro in your house of communications, so do your best to be open-minded now.
