Victorian Christmas House Exhibition

Beginning on December 5, 2009 through January 3, 2010, the Banning Museum will be transformed into a Victorian re-creation of "A Southern California Christmas". The setting of the house will be a large, afternoon Christmas dinner, and will depict how Victorian Southern Californians tried to create a feeling of winter in our semi-tropical climate.

Carson sheriff's Sgt. Carol Rogers started receiving the calls at Halloween. "Are you guys going to give away turkeys this year?" callers would ask, referring to the station's Christmas Needy Family Assistance Program, which gives toys and food baskets to local families and seniors.
