Brooktrails public hearing Tuesday for rate increases
Brooktrails Township Board of Directors has scheduled a hearing Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Brooktrails Community Center to receive public input on a proposed major increase for water and sewer connection fees and its annual trash rate adjustment.
Measure A, the Masonite site plan, was the only countywide measure and it failed to pass by a solid 62 percent "no" to 38 percent "yes." Turnout for the November 3 election was about 48 percent of registered voters, substantially fewer than the 80 percent turnout in the 2008 general election.
