Williamstown sewer, water rate increases begin Nov. 1
The proposed increased rates and charges for sewer and water services in Williamstown will go into effect on Nov. 1. According to figures released by the city of Williamstown, the rate change for the sewer services is 4 percent, and will produce approximately $21,510 annually in additional revenue. The figures showed that an average monthly bill for the various classes of customers will increase as follows: residential, $1.57l; commercial, $ 24.72; industrial, $ 20.04l and government, $11.27.
