Commissioner - Hootie' Smith vs. Sen. Chafin for 6th district seat, again

He thinks Dave Baisden is the power in the county. He is not going as far as he did last year. Oh, I forgot about the flood money.

Well, guess what David Baisden is running for Sherrif...........DO NOT VOTE FOR HIM, he is ruining the court house and they are crooked as a dogs leg.

Dave Baisden IS going to be the next Sheriff!

Wall Mart nor any other food chain store will come to Mingo because of the food tax. Senator chafin tried to get it lower or even gone but the gov. would not. Mr. Blankenship also ask for it to be gone. You can not compete with Kentucky or Virginia. The Wall Mart in Keystone is barely making it. What do you think Hootie can do? I know we have lost several millions from the court house since they have been in there. they love it when it floods, money in their pockets!

Yeah, and that same sleeper picked Hootie last time to win. Hootie is a joke. He is a liar. he tured his back on the best friend he would ever have for D. Baisden. When you have a friend then you must cherish that true friend. Dave has been no true friend to anyone.

If I, as a regular joe would run, would I get your vote. I have never did nothing wrong because I have never been in politics. Or would you keep voting for the same people that have always been in there. I would have to go by what the majority of the people want because I would know no other way.So we would have to do it by polls.what do you, the people, think?

Me and my whole family would vote for you and believe me we are voting. I will vote anyone but the same asses back in, we need a change and I believe a change is coming. Why not, RUN and see what happens you may get it. I hope anyone gets it but the same ones that cheat and get it. We need to get these out: D. Baisden, Eugene Crum, Judge Thornsbury, and a whole lot more to many to mention. But we need to change the system and it is up to us to vote and do this.

Hey the dead no longer votes. If they did you have the county commission to thank for that. We mark them deceased in the books in our small town. My husband worked it several several years ago and they did vote my grandfather every year until my husband marked him deceased. They never used my husband again. But the county commission is the ones that control that

anyways, now that I have the jest of it. If anyone is interested, I could post some of the things these upright commissioners have had their hands in. Other papers have written about the grants sent to them by TRUMAN CHAFIN, who only gets the grants he does because he is majority leader, which hootie could not be. These commissioners take credit for it too, and sometimes we don't know where they all go once they reach Mingo. But like I said, a lot of other papers print this, but not the good ole daily news. And they are sent the same info. Could it be that we are not receiving the news. Is our local paper bias?

I could list hundreds of thousands Chafin has gotten for Mingo, which is one of the counties that receive the most only because of his position has majority leader. Yea, and there seems to be job favors going on, as some has stated above. People who are not even qualified or experienced.
