Rollover Kills One, Injures Three
A rollover accident north of Whitney killed one and injured three others about 11:40 p.m. Saturday, April 12. Rescue personnel were called to HCR 1217 near the Jawbone community after a four-door pickup driven by Dylan Hightower of Godley left the roadway and rolled at least two times, according to a Department of Public Safety spokesman.

Whitney Teen Found After Police Search
A missing Whitney teenager was found after a four-hour search by law enforcement that began Saturday night, April 12. The 14-year-old girl's parents reported her missing from their home in the area of Washington and Peverly streets around 11:30 p.m., according to Whitney Police Chief Christopher Bentley.
