A 48-year-old Canadian man died in a tree well while skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort on Sunday.

A man died in a weekend skiing accident at Whitefish Mountain Resort. KECI-TV reports the resort and the Flathead County sheriff's department confirmed the death, but that neither would release any more information.
