Oh, is the sound of freedom too loud for you? Let's just get rid of all these noisy jets, and the brave men who fly them; so when the terrorists sneak in, they'll be real quiet as they're slitting your throat, so as not to disturb others. Isn't silence comforting....

I get tireed of hearing people complain about noise levels when they live near an airport or airbase. I grew up in Westfield when the National Guard was flying F-100's with afterburners. I now live near Westover with the C-5's. The noise doesn't bother me. If the noise is a concern, why did these people choose to live near an airbase?
