Many central Ohio school districts oppose using federal aid to buy guns
Schools have been using federal grants intended to improve student safety, health and instruction for such things as hiring social workers, covering Advanced Placement test fees for low-income youths and buying technology. But this revenue stream is now at the heart of a national debate about whether teachers should carry guns - and whether schools should use federal grants to pay for the guns.
