Hold up! Golf carts aren't legal on Wooster streets

Wooster residents looking to purchase their own street-legal golf cart probably should hold off on that trip to a local dealership. After The Daily Record published a story Monday about Barbara and Timothy Gill's street-legal golf cart and their summer adventures, the Millersburg Police Chief Thomas Vaughn called to note the City of Wooster has not passed an ordinance allowing for under-speed vehicles to operate on public roads under Ohio Revised Code 4511.214 and .215.
