The Halifax Historical Society Museum, which houses a collection of quilts, tools used in early industry and many fine photographs, paintings and furnishings, is open every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Located in the center of West Halifax on Brook Road adjacent to the fire station, the museum is free and open to the public.

An old-fashioned hymn sing is planned on Saturday, June 1, at 7 p.m. at the West Halifax Bible Church.
