A hazardous substance, possibly leaked from a factory or other industry, flowed through the West Elizabeth sewer system this morning.
Route 837 lane closure begins today
Traffic on southbound Route 837 in Clairton, Jefferson Hills and West Elizabeth will be reduced to a single lane starting today and continuing around-the-clock through late next month, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.
