The Dummerston Selectboard has looked favorably on a proposal by the town's Energy Committee to retrofit town facilities with energy efficient upgrades.

After eight years serving as chief of the Guilford Volunteer Fire Department, Dan Stoughton announced his retirement as of mid-November. But the longtime fire chief isn't going anywhere -- he will continue to serve the town as a firefighter and EMT, as well as maintain his role as the Fire Warden.
