Foliage update: Suggested routes for this weekend
My good pal from Vermont tourism, Erica Housekeeper, has kept me up to date on her state's foliage, and for those planning to seek out the vibrant colors from the Green Mountain State , please read the following.

Foliage is reaching peak color this week in sections of the Northeast Kingdom and Lamoille County, and most areas of the state will be displaying multiple stages of colorful foliage over the next several days.

West Burke motorcyclist found dead
The body of a 51-year-old West Burke man was discovered beside a Westmore road Monday morning, the man an apparent victim of a motorcycle accident.
A motorcyclist was found dead this morning in Westmore, hours after he crashed his bike.
Police are looking for a suspect who stole and later damaged a car. An unknown person stole the vehicle parked on Depot Street in West Burke and drove it to Schoolhouse Road in Newark at about 3 a.m. Monday.
