National Weather Service meteorologists and Okfuskee County emergency management officials said a storm that moved through east-central Oklahoma on Thursday produced a brief, weak tornado.
Weak Tornado Caused Damage In Okfuskee County
The storm moved through at about 11:15 a.m. Thursday morning. Officials from the National Weather Service and Okfuskee County Emergency Management surveyed the damage and determined that a weak tornado was briefly on the ground.
Heavy rain and wind pounded parts of Oklahoma, leaving minor damage and flooding in parts of the state.
