The Rotary Club of Weirton Heights recently heard from Wheeling resident and author David George who discussed his book "Be Unique, Be You and Live!" George informed Rotarians he was diagnosed with Asberger's Syndrome, a form of autism that affects social interaction.

Educational era comes to a close in.....
The community has lost one of its longstanding, steadfast educational opportunities for young children this week with the announcement that the Pre-School program at the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church will not be offering its services for the approaching school year.

Library getting new projector syste.....
The Mary H. Weir Public Library has been working to install a new projector system with $3,000 of grant money received from the Public Library Commission.
