Report critical of Colville DSHS office
Residents of northeastern Washington have lost trust in the Colville office of the state Department of Social and Health Services, undermining the safety of children involved in custody cases, according to a report issued Wednesday.
Child Protective Services denounced
Lawmakers, parents and an Eastern Washington prosecutor on Thursday blasted state child-protection officials, saying the state is too quick to remove children from their families.
