Vermont looks to manage remote campsites
One of the most popular waterways in the state park system is the Waterbury Reservoir but as Vermont Public Radio reports, campsites around the reservoir have had no oversight because they are on public land within Mount Mansfield State Forest but outside the boundaries of nearby Litter River and Waterbury Center State Parks.
Plan in place for camp oversight
Officials have come up with a three-year plan to manage campsites that have fallen outside the boundaries of the Little River State Park and Waterbury Center State Park in Vermont.
