Authorities accuse 22-year-old Jodie Blackboy of Warwick and 38-year-old Martin Thumb of Devils Lake of locking the toddler in a room, going to the motel bar and getting drunk last Thursday.

More water for the Sheyenne

The Sheyenne River at Valley City is forecast to reach record levels next week.A Crews will be increasing releasing more water into the Sheyenne than first expected.A The river crested at 20.5 feet earlier this week.A It's now forecast to go to 21.1 feet early next week.A That would surpass the 2009 record of 20.7 feet.
