I think John and Jennifer, the "youtube" couple, have been revolutionary in their efforts to take the news in their own hands, and to get out there and report the truths they see, and capture. we all need to be vigilant in our efforts to be citizen journalists. if everybody is watching out for corruption, and if we're connected to one another, then we'll all know within a matter of moments. the internet has the ability to be decentralized, and democratic. so far the profitable ideas have been sold off to corporations, and television had the capability to be democratic too, until the FCC took over. so there's a chance Americans use the internet to their advantage, until it gets hijacked too.
