Ex-Huntingdon County DJ charged with misconduct
A former magisterial district judge, who served for more than 30 years in Huntingdon County, was formally charged with misconduct by the Judicial Conduct Board Thursday.
Former District Judge Daniel S. Davis, who resigned from the bench Aug. 31, is alleged to have covered up financial misconduct in his office, and ordered unlawful community service programs to defendants in his court, according to a formal complaint issued by the board.
Davis was charged in the Court of Judicial Discipline in Harrisburg with failure to discharge his duties and failure to maintain adequate records. Read more
