The Ketchikan Gateway Borough will look into how it can transfer state grant funds back to the state, in hopes of expediting the Alaska Marine Highway System's planned Ward Cove moorage facility project.

Almost hidden behind the big legislative debate about oil taxes, along with a multitude of other bills, is a little measure affecting the littlest Alaskans.

A resolution opposing a proposed delay in the state's long-planned Shelter Cove Road project is on the Ketchikan Gateway Borough Assembly's agenda for Monday.
