92-year-old victim's body found after house fire
Authorities say they found the body of a 92-year-old Webster County woman after a fire engulfed her home early Saturday.
Coroner Steve Wells says Nellie Hooper was found after firefighters brought the blaze under control at the home in the Clarkson Community, on Hooper Road.
WCBI-TV in Columbus reported on its Web site that the victim's relatives had called 911 after they heard an explosion just before 2 a.m.
The house was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
Authorities say Hooper's grandson, whose name was not made public, was found outside the home suffering from burns. Read more
