The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is accepting written comments about the proposed expedited cleanup of a contaminated industrial site in the village.

Four teens and a 20-year-old man were arrested Wednesday morning after reportedly attempting to confront a homeowner on Old Unionville Road in the town of Plattekill and then throwing rocks at the person's home.
