Two injured in crash near Verndale
On Sunday, October 11, 2009 the Wadena County Sheriffa s Department received a report of a one vehicle rollover on County Highway 23 approximately one mile north of Verndale.a According to the accident report, the vehicle was southbound and left the roadway onto the west shoulder.

Wadena County highway engineer resigns
The Wadena County Board accepted the resignation of County Highway Engineer Joel Ulring, with regret, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, October 6. Ulringa s resignation will become effective on Friday, October 23.
