Farmers Lumber Co. under new ownership
WESTBROOK -- Starting on April 1 the Farmers Lumber Co. owned by Meadowland Farmers Coop will be called Westbrook Home Center. However customers will notice very little difference in the business right away.
According to Controller Emily Overson, the biggest change people will notice is the change of hardware brand. The Golden Rule line will be replace by the "Do It Best" brand of hardware. Locally folks will remember Erickson Hardware carried the predecessor brand of "Our Own Hardware" which eventually evolved into the current "Do It Best brand." Read more
