MCKENZIE BRIDGE, Oregon -- VIDA: Another chapter of the Goodpasture Covered Bridge story is now complete with revised bridge load posting signs installed. The bridge is now weight limited at 44-tons, which will allow legal loaded trucks to carry an additional 8,000 lbs.

MCKENZIE BRIDGE, Oregon -- A petition to improve safety along sections of the McKenzie Highway is on the fast track, according to its author, Dr. Dennis Ary of Leaburg.

MCKENZIE BRIDGE, Oregon -- Last May, the U.S. Postal Service announced plans to move ahead with a plan to consolidate its network of 461 mail processing locations in phases. The plan included up to 140 consolidations through February of 2013.

VIDA: Traffic will be blocked from traveling across the Goodpasture covered bridge in upcoming weeks. Two closures will be in effect on Wednesday night to Thursday morning on January 31st and again on February 7th.
