Authorities: DUI crash leaves children 'seriously injured'

Authorities arrested a 48-year-old man who allegedly slammed into two parked cars before crashing into a car full of children while intoxicated Wednesday evening. San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department officials said Vaoga Sapa, of Victorville, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after the crash, which occurred in the 14600 block of Rodeo Drive at 6:28 p.m. Officials said Sapa was headed north on Rodeo Drive in a Dodge Caravan when he crashed into two unoccupied cars parked at the curb.
