Buchanan fire auxiliary treasurer charged in theft

Haven't these local Volunteer Corps. learned their lesson. Mt. Kisco FD, Peekskill Vac (x2), Eastchester Vac have all had significant theft from members acting as Treasurer. Stop putting people with High School Education in charge and control of our tax dollars. Enough. It's time to truly monitor our Tax dollars. It's sad, her son, a member of the Buchanan FD was arrested years ago for stealing gas. Buchanan has serious problems in their Fire department. I also believe another family member was asked to resign because he was charging porno movies to the department. It's time for real leadership, not a bunch of idiots that want to drive around with lights and sirens. In these tough times it's imperative that the Village of Buchanan request a formal audit of this Agency.

The Village of Buchanan is out of control. The current Mayor hires or would like to hire family members for every open job in the community. Enough, bad politics, bad choices.
