The Van Wert County Historical Society is hosting the 20th Annual Isaac Van Wart Firecracker Bike Tour on July 4. The departure and finishing point is Jubilee Park.

Up until about 20 years ago, my wife's extended family would gather in Venedocia, Ohio, around Memorial Day to decorate the graves of their Welsh ancestors and have a Morgan-Hughes family reunion.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch recently featured an article about missing children and the impact it has on their families, and Venedocia resident, Meaghan Good, was featured in the article for her website, CharleyProject.org, which contains a database of more than 9,000 unsolved missing adults and children from across the United States.
