Lower Burrell Police Investigate Deadly Crash
Two people were killed in an accident involving a tractor-trailer in Lower Burrell.
Police tell KDKA Becky Lee Horne, 24, of Vandergrift, was driving east on Route 366 when she apparently crossed the center line and crashed into the semi.
Both Horne and the driver of the truck, Thomas Keith Nale, 51, of Knox, were killed.
The tractor trailer was hauling coal ash which spilled on the road. HAZMAT crews were called to the scene as a precaution, but no hazardous situation occurred.
