After just one week of operation, some citizens of Valley Falls have already had enough of a new police auxiliary program, which allows some private citizens to patrol the town in place of police officers.

Some 40 people attened the Valley Falls City Council meeting Wednesday where concerns were expressed that non-professionally trained police auxiliary volunteers were doing patrol duties that should be done by full-time officers.
