Where's Charles Bronson when you need him? He could clean up Vallejo the way it needs to be cleaned.

The PD is not capable of protecting the citizens and keeping law and order. Just like how the State had to take over the school district, the National Guard needs to take over this town! How many more innocent people need to die because the unions got greedy?

Am I the only one who thinks there must be more to this story? I find it hard to believe (am I that naive?) that someone would get killed over a simple, random robbery.

read the papers.....
I did not see your comment on the shooting at the Elk Lodge. You don't need to be sued, just educated.

YES, you are that naive! It's not hard at all to believe that some typical piece of shi* wearing a hoodie would rob n kill someone (It's what they do). BTW-you should know, living in Oakland, or Baby Iraq

People get killed in simple, random robberies all the time. This young man may have been trying to comply with his attackers and just wasn't moving fast enough to suit them, or perhaps he resisted. Doesn't matter, he was killed, and the suspects need to be caught and locked up. Or maybe like another poster said someone should start doing a little Charlie Bronson on these punks.

Stupid folks like you are why I'm glad to be leaving Sac. The National Guard needs to take you over. Enjoy the heat and smog.

Just hang tight dude...in a few days, one of you guys will probably take out a number of innocent people at a school (remember Columbine?). Or what about the clown that had the cult where older men were marrying young girls? What color was he? Shall I continue? What about the Oklahoma bombing...what color was that lowlife? There is no room for any race to pop their collar as being exempt from senseless crimes. Where have you been?

Im surprised people in Vallejo still sit in their cars at night. Big mistake! And if you think the victim may have had something to do with being shot, think again, my grandmother was shot during a robbery years ago - after the black guys had the money. These bm's will sizzle in hell....

Then you look back at the remarks our fine Chief of Police was quoted as saying in this rag. NO HONEST PERSON IN VALLEJO CARRIES A GUN WITHOUT A PERMIT ONLY DRUGIES AND PAROLIES. We don't need to protect ourselves we have the PD. So all you business owners and home owners better dump your protection.

My heart goes out to the family.

As it turns out -

The Vallejo Murder Rate went DOWN between 2007 and 2008.

In fact, the crime rate for Vallejo went DOWN between 2007 and 2008 for the MAJORITY of crime classes (six of 10) tracked by the FBI, the federal agency responsible for compiling these ratings.

However, crime ratings for 7 of the 10 categories went UP in San Francisco.

See here:

http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/08aprelim/table_4al-ca...

The 2009 statistics aren’t out yet. According to the Vallejo Times Herald, citing Vallejo Police, this is the 9th reported murder in Vallejo in 2009 - with 5/6 of the year over. So, given these numbers, again the murder rate in Vallejo continues to go down.

And, you can use historical data to show that the murder rate, violent crime rates and property crimes are SIGNIFCANTLY lower than during the peak years of the 1990s.

According to the statistics, Vallejo has a murder rate MUCH lower per capita than other Bay Area cities, including San Francisco.

May his soul find rest and his companion, comfort.

Too bad the cheney-bushco criminal junta had to bankrupt our country. If they hadn't there would be money for education and public safety.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Taurus

Everything seems to be getting under your skin at the moment, but this is no excuse to lose your temper, and you know it. Better by far to be discreet and plough on steadily, without looking to the left or right. If you keep your feet on the ground and don't get discouraged, there are definitely fair winds that will blow you along. It's just a question of finding the right balance between confidence and commonsense.
