The Gang Task Force could not have gone forward the way it was constituted. You cannot run that kind of unit in the haphazard way it was being directed. And let's not forget the fact that most Twin Citians had lost all trust in the Gang Task Force and we pay the bills. It is still incumbent on all local law enforcement to lock up these hoodlums, no matter the current status of the task force.

I don't care how it is run but some kind of Unit needs to be assembled and the closer to a vigilante committee the better.

The problem is parents who don't know where there rotten kids are, or the crap they are doing. But, of course, we have to have 'sympathy" for the single mom with no father figure around has to spend her time finding a "daddy" rather than watching and raising good children.

What stupid names for a gang.

Their mothers were teens, they had no fathers, it just keeps happening. Then we ask why? why? why? There needs to be more of a stigma and social pressure against this social disaster.

I am a EAST SIDE BOY not a gang member I was born and raised on the real east side.
The garbage that now lives there are not true east siders. We had pride in where we lived, pride in helping those older folks who lived next door to us, pride in our scjhools and pride in knowing we were good people. My dad left when I was 7 and I was raised by a single poor mother with 7 kids I did not feel the need to go shoot someone, rob someone, steal and break whatever law I wanted to.
The rec centers that we knew as kids are now gang club houses. We would settle things on the baseball field, hockey rink or football field. What ever happen to the rec centers that had sports teams? That is what they were for not for gang hang outs.

Good job St.Paul police hopefully they can keep these fools off our streets
