Local Man Kills Blind Daughter And Commits Suicide
An 84-year-old
Upper Darby
man shot and killed his 53-year-old blind daughter and then took his own life Saturday night, police said.
Police responded to 355 Cheswold Road and discovered the gruesome scene around 5:40 p.m. in the basement of the home. Someone called the police after not hearing from the residents in few days. A dog was reportedly found shot and killed inside the home as well.
Police said the man suffered from an illness and was in bad health at the time of the shooting. Read more
