Absolutely agree. Had a thread going about this a couple of days ago. I think it read something like this:

Does anyone else see anything wrong with this picture? We (the tax payers) have been paying for these folks to live in subsidized housing for the last secade. Now they get a zero interest mortgage. Yet, rather than working and saving some money to purchase a house on their OWN, they kept multiplying and collecting the government cheese. In the end- a nice payout for them, courtesy of the American tax payer. Wow, this really pisses me off.

I wonder if they will get free central air???

No tax money is involved. Habitat For Humanity is a Christian non-profit funded by donations. They're the mortgage holder.

Plenty of tax money has been subsidizing their housing for close to 10 years. They also receive a medical card and foodstamps. If you don't know the details about THESE people, don't try to make up for it with a link. They've been freeloading off our tax dollars for years.

Which is exactly why I stopped donating to Habitat for Immigrants. And I've decreased giving to charities like St Martin's Center, and Emmaus Food Kitchen, and Second Harvest until they can prove they do not give my money to immigrants.

Does anyone know of a charity which excludes aiding and abetting immigrants? If so, please let me know, so I can donate today.

I have given up on organized charities, causes, churches, and politics. It's not hard to find an individual person or family who has a need. Helping an individual in need may not be tax deductible... but that's not why I help.

Have so many REAL americans in need, that can't get housing and work three jobs to feed their family. But come here, pay no taxes and live off our system for years and we give you a house. Top it off our newspaper makes it a point to put there picture in the paper EVERY day to remind us of this injustice. Lets just rub this in their faces some more- you talk about IDIOTS!

I know we are all having a hard time right now. Me too but..
I'm suprised at the cold hearted opinions.
If someone is doing good for children I don't care where their from.
What have you done for children other than your own lately? Look in the mirror when you answer this question.
The next kid she helps just may be the caregiver at the home your in when your old.Dont you want that KID to know kindness.
