Great job UPD. Now watch the bunglers in the DA's office plead the gals out to misdemeanors, and then see the incompetent judge give them each probation and credit for time served.

Great job UPD? Maybe they should get tips from Lucky on how to fight crime......hahaha!!
If it werent for the Lucky's Loss Prevention guy, UPD would have never nabbed these sorry ass people.

Noone you sound like a real idiot - Obviously Lucky's has their "Loss Prevention" employees hired in their store to do a job of "Loss Prevention". They are there for the store's security. UPD personnel cannot be posted in EVERY BUSINESS throughout the city limits to monitor the store patron(s) activity. They are called when something like this happens to retrieve the suspects from the business and take them into custody after a citizen's arrest has been made. UPD does a great job with the small amount of patrol and detective personnel they have. Sounds like the posts from NOONE and LMAO have been made because of their own stupidity in not recognizing that there is a purpose for "Loss Prevention" personnel to be working in stores and businesses! |

Oh yeah? I had a pair of sneakers stolen out of my car at the Pear Tree shopping center last year and the police never did find my sneakers. In fact THEY blamed ME because my windows were down and my doors unlocked. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if that cop found my sneakers and kept them. He looked like he wore a size 11, which proves it, right? (Now before I get a whole bunch of "right on" posts, and stories from residents about how the police stole their shoes also, I was just kidding to illustrate how, so far, three out of four posts are stupid.) |

OMG--- What gave you a clue? Was it the first sentence of the story? "Ukiah Police Department cited three women who were caught by a Lucky's store "loss prevention" worker who nabbed three suspects before calling police about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday." Cause that seemed so unclear....right? |

Does the Sheriff ever update the booking page anymore? 5 days since their last update? Why have it?
sorry BUTT your screen name fits you to the teeeeeeeee......!!!! |
Hey MendoMike, does your vehicle have windows that roll up and doors that lock? Otherwise you might as well have just given away your sneakers. Yeah, UPD would love to wear your dirty sneakers. NOT!! I'm thinking they must of found them and said "Hmmm....these used sneakers are just what I was hoping to wear with my new outfit" Come on.....REALLY?? Not much of a logical ASSUMPTION on your part. Maybe you shouldn't leave your property accessible to anyone passing by that would be tempted to take it for their own. How about just face up to the fact that your sneakers that were on DISPLAY were stolen from the car YOU left unlocked and the crook ran away with them?? Happens all the time when we set ourselves up to be victims! |

The only thing loose on you is your brain. Did you even READ the article? Or are you really just that stupid? 1. Store security caught them. 2. Cops were called. 3. Cops came and busted them. You need to go sit in the corner with the other brain dead tards who can't read, but automatically spout rubbish whenever there's a post about "police." And take that idiot with you who said all of them were "beaners..." Reese isn't a Hispanic name. The four of you could play Go Fish as long as you took all the cards out of the deck higher than the number five. God, the stupidity in this thread is amazing. |

I think I have to agree with LooseChange on this one. Did Talkin even bother to read MendoMikes post or just go into rage? Hope this person isn't a local PD that truly would be scary.

the 3 studdes was ahead the first time, but no they got greedy and wanted more and tried a 2nd time and got busted, thats good deal now let judge Nelson put them in jail for xmass and new years like 60 days for each store and let them pay for all things they took after all they wanted them for some reason, let them pay for them . they know that spy cam is around so look out for them now put the mug shot of them in each store and keep these young ladies out of these stores .

Uh...actually that was an attempt at satire. I thought those anti cop posters who rail on and on about the evil police would give me a "here, here" if I claimed the police stole my sneakers, and maybe share stories about how the police stole their bong or something. Sorry, I didn't think anyone would take that post seriously.:) |

Actually not- the police in Mendocino County are ridiculed and blamed for everything from lost cats to pot busts to traffic tickets to the point they expect nonsense like my post, so it's understandable he could believe a citizen would accuse the police of stealing their smelly old sneakers. |
