Nice low ( e.g. NONE) bail for drug addled lowlifes trafficing in stolen firearms.

See how well the courts, the DA, and the "tough" massachusetts gun laws work!!!

Do they have , the buyers or sellers, a permit? Where is the mandatory one year in jail charges?

"Where is the mandatory one year in jail charges?"

Only applies to law abiding citizen who forgets to renew FID or Pistol Permit permission slips.

We need a sherrif like Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. You dont goto a nice comfy jail you goto tent city and work on the chain gang. I lived out there for 11 years and saw much less crime per capita. I am moving back in sept and cant wait. I can carry a handgun legaly and protect myself and my family. Its to bad people keep electing these bleeding heart liberals in this state. Get tough on crime and bring the jobs back and people will stop leaving.

Next people will tell us what 'good kids' they are and that they don't deserve to go to jail. We know how well that works out...

They need to make an example of someone, or some group, but things have been overlooked for so long that they're like: "OK, not this one -- the next one..." and so on. I'm convinced that law enforcement is doing a very good job -- in Pittsfield and in Lee -- No one is following up after they do their jobs, though, and the crimes seem to be getting more and more dangerous. Will we have to wait until an officer dies before prosecuting to the fullest extent? It's not about bleeding-heart liberals as much as it is people not doing their jobs.

Your a fool and 13 cents is way to much. As far as I'm concerned if you dance the jig you gotta pay the fiddler.

My child is a good child and would never do these things, all because of me.
My child gets allowance and I allow my child to stay up late on weekends and sometimes even drive my child to the YMCA.

Well said... all states need a sheriff like him. If this country would learn you can't baby the criminals we would be a lot better off. I hope these little brats don't walk down my street... they may never make it to the corner.

first of all they are still in jail, second of all, "other would be killers" who is a killer? where in this article did you read that someone got killed?
They haven't gone to trial, so no judge has even been involved yet. as for the name calling, how about you get a life and stick to worrying about things that pertain to you, instead of posting comments about people online. I highly doubt that you are perfect, so don't judge others until you are

Couldn't have said it any better, get the liberal judges out of Berkshire county, lets run this county like the wild west, if that's how these morons are going to act, and hang them.
worry about things going on in your own state... and if you don't like it then move to the wild west... BUT don't get your hopes up because they don't even hang people there!
