Heritage Center Showcases Photographs
The El Camino Real International Heritage Center is showcasing some of the history of the lower Rio Grande though a series of photographs at the center's main hall.
"Reflections of the Rio Abajo," a photograph exhibit by Charlie Sanchez Jr., is on display through Sept. 26.
The collection of 24 photographs features a reflective meditation upon the obscure, abandoned and forgotten places and buildings of New Mexico's Rio Abajo. Each photograph is accompanied by the poetry of his wife, Irene Sanchez.
