Trumbull mall renovations win approval

Christmas came early to the Westfield Trumbull mall, as the Planning and Zoning Commission stuffed the company's proverbial stocking Wednesday night with unanimous approval for a $25 million renovation, including a major redesign of the facade, which the owners hope renews the shopping complex's appeal.

Westfield should charge $10 per person or family to get into the mall. If you spend more than $5 at any store you get a your receipt validated and your $5 back when you leave the mall.
