Trotwood upgrades key community facility; celebration this weekend
The City of Trotwood is hosting a grand opening for its new Community and Cultural Arts Center at 4000 Lake Center Drive Trotwood officials spent about $750,000 on the renovations. That total includes $250,000 in grant funding from the state of Ohio and $75,000 from the Montgomery County Community Development Block Grant dollars, said Trotwood City Manager Quincy Pope Sr. "We hope the Community and Cultural Arts Center will attract anyone that is interested in the arts, as well as anyone in the region interested in renting this beautiful facility for private events," Pope said.
